WhatsApp is always being upgraded with new in-app features to improve the chat’s security and safety. A link to join a WhatsApp group call will now be included in the Meta-owned instant messaging service. It would work similarly to joining a Zoom, Webex, or Google Meet call or group call. Users can now join the call without having to use the link. The link will be able to provide a preview, and users will be able to set a reminder for it. You can send the call link to both contacts and non-contacts using WhatsApp. “You will be able to make a call link immediately within your contacts list and share it with anyone, even non-contacts,” says the developer. According to WABetaInfo, a WhatsApp tracker. To join the call or group call, you or anyone else must have WhatsApp installed. This feature is being developed by WhatsApp and will be available soon. It is now being tested on the Android platform and will be the first to do so. In the future, a similar capability could be extended to iOS and desktop.

“This feature is different from the old Messenger Rooms shortcut: anyone could join a Messenger Room, even if they didn’t have a Facebook account,”

    he explained.

“When you create a WhatsApp call link, the call is hosted on WhatsApp, so it’s secured by end-to-end encryption, and you’ll need a WhatsApp account to join,”

he added. Aside from this new functionality, WhatsApp is focusing on integrating search into the contact information page. Both Android and iOS users will be able to utilize it. Additionally, for desktop users, it is adding new response features. Desktop users will be able to view who in the group has responded to incoming and departing messages, as well as how they responded, in a future update.
