On the fringes of the Mobile World Congress 2022 (MWC 2022) in Barcelona, HMD Global unveiled its cheap C21 series and C2 Android Go smartphones. At the event, Nokia has a history of releasing intriguing or attention-getting items. But this year it has taken an unusual route of focusing on cheap phones. The business offers two years of security updates, which, according to that estimate, will expire in 2024.
SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE NOKIA C21, C21 PLUS, AND C2 2ND EDITION
HMD Global has released three phones, all of which run on Android Go 11 Edition, which is a lightweight version of Android. As a result, the value of RAM and storage is less arguable. The Unisoc CPU is used in the Nokia C21 and C21 Plus, whereas the quad-core MediaTek chipset is used in the Nokia C2 2nd Edition.
The Nokia C21 comes with 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The C21 Plus comes with 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB of RAM, as well as 32GB or 64GB of storage. The Nokia C2 2nd Edition only has 1GB or 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The Nokia C21, C21 Plus, and C2 2nd Edition each have a 6.5-inch HD+ display, a 6.5-inch HD+ display, and a 5.7-inch FWVGA display. The C21 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera for photos. The C21 Plus has a dual-camera configuration with a 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensor on the back.
A 5-megapixel sensor is located on the front of the device. Only a 5-megapixel back camera and a 2-megapixel front camera are included on the C2 2nd Edition.
The C21, C21 Plus, and C2 2nd Edition smartphones contain 3,000mAh, 4000mAh, and 2,400mAh batteries, respectively, for backup.
PRICES FOR THE NOKIA C21, C21 PLUS, AND C2 2ND EDITION
The Nokia C21 costs EUR 99 (about Rs 8,500), the Nokia C21 Plus costs EUR 119 (roughly Rs 10,800), and the C2 2nd Edition costs EUR 79. (Rs 6,500 approx).
