Since then, Xiaomi has reaffirmed its intention to introduce the Xiaomi 13 series on February 26 at MWC. The Xiaomi 13 Lite, Xiaomi 13, and Xiaomi 13 Pro are all expected to be released on that day in all markets, even though the Xiaomi 13 Ultra won’t be introduced at that event. In advance of its introduction, the entry-level model of the series has also been seen in the flesh, showcasing its important specifications.
Of course, the Xiaomi 13 Lite will be the least expensive model in the line, and that is reflected in its specifications. The 13 Lite will nevertheless have a 120 Hz AMOLED, a 50 MP “triple camera system,” a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, and 67 W rapid charging. The Xiaomi 13 Lite appears to be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Civi 2, which made its debut in China back in September of last year. Those specifications may look familiar to the astute observer.
This suggests that up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage can be anticipated for the Xiaomi 13 Lite. It would be unrealistic to anticipate the newest memory and storage technologies as shown on the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro from the mid-range Civi 2, which was designed with young consumers in mind. The Xiaomi 13 Lite will most likely have a 50 MP main camera, a 20 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2 MP macro lens. Dual selfie cameras are confirmed by the live images as well: two 32 MP shooters with various fields of view. The package should be completed by a 4500 mAh battery.
Amazon has the Xiaomi 12T for sale.
