PlayStation Plus subscribers on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 appear to be enjoying February’s free PS Plus games, particularly Mafia: Definitive Edition. There aren’t many games to keep you entertained while you wait for GTA 6. With the new Saints Row a flop, the only options are GTA 5 and Mafia: Definitive Edition. There are other open-world crime games, but not many that stand out. Because GTA 5 isn’t getting any younger, you might want to try Mafia: Definitive Edition, which is now available for free on PS Plus as part of February’s free games offering.
Mafia: Definitive Edition is a remake built from the ground up of 2002’s Mafia, a PC, PS2, and Xbox game that many remember fondly. That said, it’s ancient and not great to return to, which is why the 2020 remake is so appealing, as it retains the original’s great story, setting, and characters but with more modern gameplay, graphics, and everything else you’d expect from a modern era game.
When the remake was released, it was widely praised, so it’s no surprise that many PS Plus subscribers are praising the game and its inclusion in PS Plus on the PS Plus Reddit page.
