It is no secret that Xiaomi intends to launch a new Ultra smartphone in the global market. For example, the CEO of the company stated as much last year, and there have been numerous hints since that the device is still in development. For the time being, Xiaomi is only ready to bring the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro to market, with the Xiaomi 13 Lite following suit as a rebranded CIVI 2.
Meanwhile, Kartikey Singh has collaborated with artist @SPInfoJP to provide Xiaomi 13 Ultra renders. The designs are said to be based on recent leaks rather than leaked CADs, as @OnLeaks frequently does. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has also been imagined in four different colours by the duo. While black and white models are likely, it is unclear whether Xiaomi plans to release red or green vegan leather models.
Regardless, the concept renders, arguably more than an alleged hands-on image, provide a closer look at what could be Xiaomi’s next-generation flagship smartphone. For the time being, it appears that Xiaomi’s next Ultra smartphone will feature four rear-facing cameras with twin 1-inch sensors. The authenticity of these renders is said to be “close to 90%,” but that remains to be seen for the time being. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to be released globally this summer. However, we wouldn’t be surprised if the device was released in China a month or two earlier.
