I can’t blame you for not being up to date on the newest news because Sundays are for sleeping in late and then playing video games. Nevertheless, I can bring you up to speed. Today, we learned that an Overwatch 2 flaw has been changing players’ names, The Last of Us has been drawing criticism from HBO, and a preload problem in Destiny 2 Lightfall has been wreaking havoc. Continue reading for more information since there is more where this came from.

More than 2 million copies of the recently released survival game Sons of the Forest were sold in just one day. Twitter user Endnight, a developer, wrote, “Hello everyone.” “We appreciate everyone who has participated in Sons of the Forest’s Early Access. About 2 million copies have been sold in the first day, and we are really thrilled about what the next few weeks will bring for players. Just nearly 412,000 players were playing concurrently at its height.

Destiny 2 Lightfall Preload Issue Locks Players Out Of The Game, Reinstall Required

Problems with Destiny 2 Lightfall have been causing gamers to reinstall the game and locking off those who preload it. Lightfall’s preload has been sent out early in some countries due to a problem that Bungie says is being looked into. We advise users to put this download on hold until February 27 at 9:00 AM PST so they can keep enjoying the live game. Later on, the developer said that “PS5 gamers who still want to play Destiny 2 need to do the following: uninstall the game, go to Game Library, pick Your Collection, click the Destiny 2 icon, select the PS5 version on the Destiny 2 store page, select Download to reinstall Destiny 2.”

A bug in Overwatch 2 is altering player usernames without cause.

For no apparent reason, Overwatch 2 has begun changing player names. “Well, my name just changed at random. I think I played a custom game before it changed. Can somebody tell me how to turn it back because I can’t figure it out? For instance, Karma Sick, a user on Reddit, noted, “I went on Battle.net and it shows my Battletag is still the same. Naturally, this is a reference to the current bug problems in Overwatch 2, which Blizzard has supposedly been investigating for a few weeks.
